Divine Intervention Illustration

This piece started with two goals, to try a line-less style, and to break out of the typical standing poses I fall into drawing. The style I was drifting towards grew into a regional, art-nouveau / art and crafts expression, which guided choice in color palette. I like to think she is a forest-dwelling sister to the Greek oracles, revealing her prophesies to the pine scented air.
